Is RTX 4080 SUPER Worth It?
No, despite its higher price point of £1374, the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER proves disappointing when purchased new. For a similar price, GeForce RTX 5080 has 14.0% better 3DMark score compared to GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER.
In the realm of the used market, the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER still maintains decent value for money, but Radeon RX 7900 XTX has a 2.5% performance lead over the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER. Making it a moderate choice, neither remarkable nor disappointing.
PSU for RTX 4080 SUPER
Recommended PSU for the RTX 4080 SUPER: about 900 W — the card draws 320 W, a CPU such as the Intel Core i9-13900K about 125 W, and doubling the total leaves headroom for transient spikes. Pick a unit from a reputable tier of the Cultists Network PSU Tier List.
